BIO I was born in Londrina, Brazil the 5th of June 1997. At the age of 6, my mother and I moved to Florence, Italy. There my love for art was born to never die. The city I was born in is a Medium size city, but the village I spent the first 6 years of my life is a very small village in the countryside. There the south American magic realism takes place in a wild and strange way. Absurd characters have inhabited my childhood, in small places the imagination travels more freely than elsewhere. From this migrant life of mine my name EREMA was born, greek for solitary and remote, wandering. The influence of the great masters of the Florentine renaissance and clas- sical art can be found by observing my works. The great Italian artistic tradition was my mother and teacher, I learned a lot from her about the reality and unreality of existence. I studied at the Liceo Artistico di Porta Romana, a beautiful institution that helped me understand what I wanted to do when I grew up. In addition to Western traditional painting, I studied Chinese calligraphy for 10 years at the FeiMo school. The fluid and organic structure of Chinese painting influence me even if it is a closed chapter in my life.
